Hi, I’m Sami Giles, an Applied Communication student with a passion for using strategic storytelling and communication theory to spark real-world change. My training and education focuses in a critical-cultural paradigm, which leads me to strive for social justice, equality, and resistance in my personal and professional life. Whether I’m writing, researching, or collaborating on projects, I’m driven by a love for making communication meaningful and impactful- especially when it comes to causes I care about.

After graduation, I hope to work with LGBTQ+ non-profit organizations, focusing on community outreach and volunteer engagement, while also pursuing a master’s degree in communication.
